I am involved in a family court situation. My daughters dad has broke the court order and i have tried to contact his solicitor to explain the situation but she has refused to talk to me about it saying that she isnt representing me. Which obviously i know that (i am representing myself as i dont qualify for legal aid) surely she should talk to me about the case as she would have to talk to my solicitor about it if i had one! Does anyone know my rights on this thankyou

Why doesn't your daughter's dad just speak to the solicitor instead?
Or, get your own solicitor

just a few questions...1. what type of court order ? i.e. contact
2. what exactly do you want to say to fathers solicitor?
3. Is the solicitor still representing father?
If he has b roken a family court order your best action would be to go back to court, with evidence and make an application to the court for him to appear before the magistrates or county court judge to explain himself. No need for you to talk to his solicitor.
cont....forgot to add family court is very different to criminal court...

not at all unusual for people to represent themselves in court. If you are articulate and can follow proceedings there is no reason you couldn't cope.
