Police complaints
How do you go about putting in a complaint to the police?
OH's cousin is was getting serious harassment from her Ex...so bad that she moved to Ireland. Now the ex has started harassing her mum & dad and her sister.
He's spray painted their houses....turns up at night kicking their doors...etc etc..
The police have been called at least 9 times in the last few months. He turned up again last night and after phoning the police the police basically said there was nothing they could do.

Thanks for that...I'll tell them to do so.
It's getting ridiculous now. The police turned up today at 11am after a 999 call last night. Still saying there is nothing they can do.
I've seen people get arrested for much less. He's intimidating an old (ish) couple and a single parent. Because the son lives with his parents his ex is not letting him have his daughter to stay because of it....so the knock on effect is quite bad..
Why not law youngmafbog? where would you suggest I post it?

I think they have taken out a restraining order.
I don't think they are taking it seriously because of the issues the son has had over the years (he dates nutters...police always end up involved)
This is different though....his sister has had to leave the country. She did this to try and save her Mum & Dad from the hassle he was giving them.
Basically he just wants to know where she is.....now she's back in Ireland fretting.

To be fair here, I did think your "why's this in news" comment was unwarranted, ummmm. There are loads of questions posted in either the incorrect section or with only a tenacious link to the section they're everyday, pointing out every one seems a bit pointless.
Though It's a shame that R1gee...... errrr, sorry MrsT is banned otherwise I'm sure they would have posted to backup R1gee..... errr sorry youngmafbog and R1gee..... errrrr, sorry red_john too.
