Advice please, I've seperated, divorce impending. I was just reading a booklet which I had sent to me from Uk Pensions when I reached 60. It states on there under Changes and Circumstanses " Let us know if you seperate from your partner or get divorced". Does this mean my pension would decrease or increase? TIA.

It might have something to do with pension credits. I turned 60 last year but because I stayed at home to bring up the children, I hadn't paid enough stamps to claim a full state pension. I only get a small amount and can't claim pension credits because my husband is younger than me and in full time employment.
This site may help. You may want to have a look and then come back if you still have a query.
