Birth times on birth certificate in Malta
Do all Maltese birth certificates have the time of birth on them normally, or is it just put on because of multiple births? I have recently heard in UK only the time of birth is added to the birth certificate when there is more than one baby born. I have a Maltese birth certificate with the date and time on it.

I found it odd when they put our address on my daughter's certificate (had her at home by accident), just thought they would put the town.
i was born in 66 mike. Both Mr A and my birth certificates are written on by the minister who christened/baptised us - it is a nice thing to keep - i ordered a short version to send of when required as I don't like sending out the "real" one. I use the kids short ones for the same purpose and keep the full ones safe.
bit of variety there Ummmm :o)
No 1 son was born by CSection after a day and a half in labour and No2 was an elective section and I was first on the list.
When I was born, my sister (age 6) when asked by her teacher said "no baby yet, think it'll be ages" then there I was when she came home for lunch and she had to go back and say to the teacher that she was wrong!!'

annie0000 I am just saying that there is not even a space for the time of birth on the UK birth certificate.See the image in my link , that is what every certificate I have ever seen looks like and I have never seen the time written on one. Not to say that some registrars may decide to put the time on it.
Remember that the birth certificate is issued by the registrar of births and can be up to 3 weeks after the event and many miles away from the place of birth.
As I said the form with the details of the birth that the doctor/midwife/nurse etc issues after delivery does have the time of birth on it.
