I have been using my plastic supermarket bags to scoop my dog's poo. Now with the levy in I bought a large bag of dog poo bags and they disgusting in that they would be too small and you would "feel" it. Is there anywhere you could buy these large supermarket bag ie in a trade shop - after all the shops can get them. I do have trade card. Was thinking of Makro. Look tomorrow - am tired night night
With the supermarket bags being biodegradable these days I'm unsure the environment would have much of an issue with them. It's good to see at least some dog owners make an effort to clean up after their pet, where I am that seems to be very much the exception. It's like it the 1960s around here. Why not web search for the bags ? Someone must sell them. You may be even able to check Makro before you make the trip.
no 1 are nappy sacks larger than the doggie ones and can I also say there I am lifting my dog's poo beside an earlier one left behind another dirty f er
Now dog poopers are going to be fined - how about the ones who walk their dogs for hours at night time. No wardens - never win this dirty filty sitution.
Here's an idea - Lidl sell those degradable bags that you put in your kitchen caddy for your recyclable food waste, so why not use them? (Other supermarkets sell them too, but Lidl are the cheapest & they're a decent size as well.) And beso, everything poos, so what are your suggestions?
I always use nappy bags - sometimes I have a carrier bag and put several nappy bags in it to carry home. You have to be careful some carrier bags have little air holes in the bottom!
//Don't worry about the environmental effects of the style of bag. Supplying a large dog with food is worse for the environment than driving a big SUV.//
We just use "Pets at Home" poo bags singly. Ok so it can feel a bit squidgy but they are big enough for my dogs and the poo's don't get much bigger. I think I have only ever known 1 to split on me.
