Eh? You can't marry a close relative, do you count as your own blood relative?

You might be allowed a civil ceremony, as it's same-sex. I have heard of people "marrying" inanimate objects. Although not sure how legal that is!
Karl Lagerfeld wants to marry his cat. And I have heard of a woman who wanted to marry her cell phone.

I presume the questioner, if he isn't deliberately playing a joke, is meaning with respect to conducting a ceremony for yourself if you are a minister, registrar, etc.
