Premium Bonds

Is there a site out there that can tell me if my numbers have ever won any money? I'm very suspicious that a family member, who has the same initials and surname, 'stole' a £5000 win from me over 30 years ago! I have contacted the premium bonds head office but they said they couldn't help because their records dont go back that far. If I could only punch my numbers into a search of winners I'd know either way whether I have been duped. Any help much appreciated, thanks.

Mamya, that site only goes back six months. That's why I am asking the OP why they have left it so long.

I've always had a nagging doubt in the back of my mind that it happened and tried about 6 or 7 years ago to find out from Premium Bonds with no luck, something has re-surfaced and I'd like to pursue it again. The family member, who I lived with at the time, never mentioned to me that they had won, even though we lived under the same roof, but it was common knowledge to others, also at the same time he brought me a TV and video recorder, which was the 'new' gadget of the day, for no apparent reason, guilt complex perhaps!!

Thought it went back further under 'unclaimed' (which of course is not what saint is saying) sorry - but I agree the only way a relative could do that is if they shared your address also.

After 30 years it is going to be nigh on impossible to prove any fraud, stand to be corrected by the legal beagles.

The evidence is a) the person has your initials b) they have not got your name (I suppose) c) the warrant for payment would be payable to your name d) the dishonest individual has to pay it to an account in your name e) they bought a TV and video recorder as a present to you, but there's no evidence of their having £5,000, a lot of money over 20 years ago f) you have waited all that time without doing anything, though you were aware of talk

I'm not sure where the figure of £5000 has come from. Maybe it was £25000. Maybe it was £50. Maybe it didn't win.
