Disclosling My Paypal Details
This is only about a fiver and is to do with a refund to be made by an eBay seller for a minor fault.
Leaving aside that it may be that the matter should go through eBay, can anybody see any disadvantage in disclosing my Paypal details to seller, described by him as 'your Paypal e-mail address'.

However - there shouldn't be a need to do this. If I need to give a refund on an eBay transaction, all I have to do is go to the PayPal transaction in my account, click "Details" and there is an option to give a full or part refund on that transaction - nobody needs to enter any more details. I'd prefer to do it that way, but if you don't want to, just give him your email address.
ebay will not let you put your paypal / email details on ebay messages.
They think you are trying to bypass ebay so they don't get their cut.
Do as suggested and do a part refund by clicking on 'details' on the paypal transaction.
Tip, if you do want to give your paypal details via ebay messages do as I do and send them photo of your paypal name typed or written on a bit of paper. Works every time, paypal / ebay have not found out about this yet.
