I received a parking fine today from Morrisons. I was livid.
I read online about appealing (apparently it doesn't work to just ignore them anymore) but decided to ring the store directly and ask for the manager.
It took him all of two minutes to decide he didn't want me to (politely) shout at him anymore and they have deleted it. YAY!
Just shows, you just have to stand your ground.

Morrissons don't run their own car parks its Europarks or some such thing so I don't know how the manager managed to waive the ticket. Why not just pay next time and get your money back at the till?
Question Author
It wasn't europarks, it was Paid Parking Company
The car park is free but apparently there is a time limit. It wasn't a non-payment charge for a pay and display.
Question Author
Sorry, the company is called Paid Parking Company and they take a pic of your car entering and leaving the car park.
Question Author
Why do I keep saying Paid Parking, it was Paid Parking Company
Question Author
Hang on, I'm typing the right thing so why is it changing? Ed?

always suspicious about Firm X if it transpires Firm X has been rattling the libel sword because of consumer er dissatisfaction.

after all wouldnt it be better if Firm X dealt with customer complaints, instead of taking the view of: "we dont have any and if anyone says we do, we're goonna sue !"

I agree Peter but while they are raking in squillions from people who just cough up, they aren't going to do that are they.
The Ed might like to know that I'm seeing what appears to be the full name. Its initials are PPC. Or is that what it's being changed to?
Question Author
That's what it's being changed to SeaJayPea.
The real name is on two lines and ends with eye.

A firm threatens legal action if someone uses it's name ? I'd would have hoped that was illegal; and an information site not bullied by such threats.
Ah. Thanks frognog.
Why was you fined in the first place Frog? We don't have Morrisons where I live.
Question Author
