Do I need a solicitor to sell a house or is it just a case of take the money and hand over the keys.

BUT ....

there are creatures called Licensed Conveyancers who only do house sales and are cheaper

some people like them ( me)
and some people ( BuenChico ) dont

but either way it isnt a case of handing over the moolah and exchanging keys - clearly those two actions figure but there is MORE
