I sent out 4 more answers but they are not published? I an planning to find an experienced and expert solicitor to defend me. But I am in a small town and I guess choices are limited. Anyone have an idea of cost for a case like mine?
Dont throw good money after bad. Let it drop & hope for a sympathetic magistrate.

Really, I am a court /magistrate Virgin. Really have no idea. All I want is not cautioned or found guilty. Please any suggestion welcome.
Trust the Courts for mercy, so long as you are apologetic & NOT militant! Magistrates are aware of how crminal records effect work prospects.
Question Author
Should I plead guilty or not guilty. I am planning plead not guilty all along
Tambo...
//Magistrates are aware of how crminal records effect work prospects.//
Like they give a monkeys? Seriously?
Are you suggesting that magistrates give a fig when deciding guilt or innocence?
If not then why the comment about magistrates been 'aware'?
And since when has mercy been a defence?
//Trust the Courts for mercy//
unbelievable in this day and age.
I can see about 14 answers you posted don the last thread- some on page 1 and some on page 2. Try posting another now, even if just says 'test', and see if it appears. It's much better to keep everything in one thread
Plead guilty (in & out quick). Important for hubby to attend with you, to show his support. Cut your nails, look mumsie but clean & tidy. Good luck.

Tamborine Sorry, the auto correction is so annoying.
I have posted a reply on your original thread. Read it.
To get an expert lawyer on a case against the police and CPS will cost many thousands of £s, try £50,000 just to prepare a case with no chance of getting it back !.
You will need a barrister and the cheapest ones START at £250 an hour, the best ones can name their own price up to £2000 an hour or more!
Question Author
Thanks Eddie51. Got both answers
you have already admitted the offence , pleading not guilty now is not an option. See New Judges reply in the original post.

Basically, ordinalry people just have to take what is on offer regardless of being treated unfairly because in their eyes, however small an offence is, it is an offence. No in between. No human touch but robotic.
Question Author
Is this our justice system? Label someone as violence for life for an unintended tiny fingernail cut? It is really tiny, about 0.5cm or less.
Question Author
I don't even have long nails because I cook everyday.... real fresh healthy food ...fresh meat and vegetable. Impossible to keep long nails or varnish
Was it Nailit or NotNut who quoted a judge in the High COurt

This is not a court of Justice but a Court of Law

( you can kinda take this in a variety of ways )

Yeah sorry Seex, if the police are faced with a little lady who has scratched her husband ( allegedly ) or a nine week trial on complex fraud issues, they may well take the little lady....

I was faced with this for drunk driving in one of the rougher areas of Manchester and thought christ do you [the feds] really have nothing better to do at night ? Ho hum, I got over it
Question Author
Peter Pedant, What do you mean by got over it?
