I made my own mind up re the June referendum, I have Dip. LCW after my name and, despite what Ca Moron thinks, can read, write and think for myself. I am LIVID that £9,000,000 is being spent of OUR money on a 'pamphlet' by a hypocrite to try and 'swing' the results in HIS favour! Surely this is illegal? Is this referendum not supposed to be 'fair and unbiased?' Unfortunately I know very little (0) about law, but feel that there MUST be something he (Ca Moron) can be dragged before the courts for? Any lawyers out there with ideas?

I'm afraid it is perfectly legal and I think that if Labour were in government we either wouldn't be having a referendum or, if it had been forced upon them, they's have been setting out the case for staying in too. The major parties and the government, apart from UKIP, seem to be in favour of staying. It may of course backfire if the public decides to show it is fed up of an out of touch political elite comprising all the major parties
It's when something you consider is unfair happens to make it more difficult to achieve what you want, that you risk becoming livid. I think it is fairly obvious that if the opposite occurs and something you consider unfair makes it more likely you will achieve what you wish, you are unlikely to be livid. Embarrassed and keep a low profile maybe.
Seems to be that, given the public demand for info was genuine, the opposing camps were quite capable of providing that information, at least where it supported their case, for themselves.
There is no valid way of claiming an additional cost to the taxpayer, to word the claims of data, apparently in order to support the 'stay in' point of view, is simply to satisfy that demand. The taxpayer should be reimbursed by those in parliament who are responsible, and they should also supply another £9M to put the data worded in such a way to support the 'get out' camp also. Then the playing field might be levelled.
Never trust governments. They are a bunch wanting their own way and have no regard for the requirements of the public they claim to represent. The public are there simply to pay for everything and been reneged on when understandings are suddenly changed. (As per the pension age, as a prime example.)

For those of you that are voting to get out of Europe in the upcoming referendum...... When you receive the 'Stay In' propoganda leaflet that Cameron spent £9 million pounds on, don't open it, mark it 'Return To Sender' and pop it in a post box ..... you can even add your own comment on the envelope lol!!

In 1973 - someone tried a citizens arrest on Heath for treason in signing the country into the then common market - but the application was dismissed by the courts
Denning opined apropos of not an awful lot - that if there were a Bill that said parliament was not to be parliament any more - then perhaps an arrest could be made as the prime minister ( but he doesnt does he ? ) took the bill for Royal Assent to the Palace. I didnt think so at the time as a law student

I am totally undecided whether to vote in or out in this referendum. I read something one day and think that I am going to vote Out. Next day I read something different, and think that I am going to vote to stay in. I have already received a get out leaflet, and will soon get a stay in booklet. This leaves me absolutely nowhere. I wonder how other people are making up their minds. I haven't a clue what to vote.
