Returning A Faulty Item To Amazon
9 Answers
has anyone any idea of how to return an item, which has become faulty after 5 months, to amazon. the item was purchased through amazon, although i believe not directly from them. i had a bit of a problem with it initially, but the company who made the item helped me through e-mail to resolve it. now it does not work at all, and although i have made contact with the company, via the same e-mail, they have not responded. i cannot find anywhere on the amazon website what to do if you buy something from them, that subsequently develops a fault. returning within a 30 day window is straightforward, but that's all.

I went onto the amazon website again, and there was the facility against the item to ask a question. so i asked what i had to do regarding a faulty item. the message went to the supplier, and also to amazon. the supplier responded within a day, with advice about the item. after following the advice it still did not work, and the supplier asked did i want a replacement. after informing them that i did, a new one arrived after a couple of days, even arriving on a sunday afternoon. so in future, should i have a faulty item i will go through this option.
