Can anyone tell me please if there is a limit on how many times a Defendant can apply to the Court to have a Restraining Order discharged - when an application has already been made & the victim objected & the Court refused to discharge it.
Thank you.

There's no limit as far as I know.

However, should an application be made again there is nothing to prevent the victim from suggesting to the court that he or she will not agree to it being lifted at any time during its duration. It can be suggested to the court that further applications will therefore not succeed and will waste the court's time. The court may then order that no further applications will be entertained.
