Our neighbours have no curtains/blinds at their upstairs windows,we have seen them naked before and as a general rule it doesn't bother us and we know that its not a crime, but what happens when they are washing each other in the bathroom with the window wide open and can be seen by my 12 year old?
when told to close the window we are shouted out with , " you shouldn't
be looking then ,you perv "
we have reported them to the police but they dont want to know !
What can we do next?
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Balders, he was a serving officer at the time of the offence.
He was a serving police officer at the time of the offences.
// This copper got sent down for 12 months for filming such things. //

completely different again
he was on duty
he was using a helicopter and camera whilst on duty and collecting non evidence for his own gratification. god knows how he was expecting to get the images off the office machine

the other three were acquitted as they were able to show they were form filling on the ground whilst the photos were being taken

//he wasn't an ex when he did it, Baldric.///

Didn't say he was, the Link says
//Ex-police officer jailed over helicopter film of couple having sex//
Also says
//A “sex-obsessed” former police officer who filmed a couple having sex///
it is pretty comprehensively answered here
and the answer is no
( no criminal intent - but hey you said he WAS a policeman )

// “a swinging and sex-obsessed air observer” //

What's one of them then ?

Oh , it's a copper taking pictures from a copter

AOG says ///This copper got sent down for 12 months///

For the hard of understanding,

I pointed out that he was not a Copper when he was sent down, he was an Ex Copper.
He was sentenced as a serving police officer at the time of the offence he was sacked because he admitted the offences.
It is not an offence if it is just how they live, but it is if it is done with intent to offend others, though that is hard to prove.

Ignoring them is probably the best course of action. Tell the landlord if it bothers you greatly, but bear in mind that could make the situation worse.
Had he not been a police officer at the time he wouldn't have gone to prison
the news had him as serving ( hur hur hur)
and using police equipment

and that his three alleged co-conspirators were police and acquitted

but hey I didnt see his warrant card

so yeah Baldric he could have been just plain Johnny-wide-eyes who erm cd fly a police helicopter and knew where the zoom switch was

Put up a fake camera aimed at them, I bet they'll soon put up curtains.

AOG, you did @ 14:53

[[[This copper got sent down for 12 months for filming such things]]].

Off shopping now, will be returning :o)

good grief, there's some who really do like going off topic on this site.
An ex-copper or serving copper, serving or ex-marine has got absolutely NOTHING to do with this question.
Yes I will leave now, to consider if I will return, as it seems some are allowed to say what they like while other's post are removed for defending themselves.

This was such a good site once, but fastly being destroyed by certain unseen persons.
Sharon that's a good idea, maybe invest in a slightly more expensive one which moves around a bit so they (the neighbours) can't say it's an invasion of their privacy and the OP can say it's been installed for home security?
