What Happens If You Get A Parcel Which Is Not Yours?
A courier delivered a parcel to me - yes, actually addressed to me - which is not mine. There was a letter enclosed to someone else - certainly not me. I sent an email to the sellers and asked them to arrange to pick up the parcel or alternatively to send me a stamped address label and I would take it to the Post Office. I would not pay myself as I could see no way of getting my money back. I also pointed out that it was not my responsibility. I think I have done the right thing. Does anyone know how long I should keep it or what else I should do? You have never let me down!

nalit, the scam is you get sent a mobile phone that you did not order.
A short time later someone turns up and says they are the courier , accidently delivered the phone to the wrong person and ask for it back.
You give it back and then get sent the bill for the phone . The courier was a scammer who now has new phone free and you have a large bill but no phone.

Pity it's past Nov 5th, we used to get a lot of books in someone else's name, in the days of book clubs, I told the sender that I would keep them until November 5th then dispose of them. There used to be a 6 week limit on found stuff, I recall finding a £5 a long tome back and being marched down to the police station. After the longest 6 weeks of my little life I went down to collect it.
