Abh No Intent And No Previous
My partner is facing a charge of ABH for allegedly hitting a bottle on someone’s head whilst at a party. There was a big argument lots of shoving and pushing and me and my partner ended up in the road having an argument. When I went back into the house, after my partner and 3 of his friends had left, there was lots of crying. The police arrived then I heard someone say that it was my partner who bottled him?? I didn’t see it happen and find it strange how he would have been capable as we were in the road arguing! He has no previous and was told it is without intent. 3 people have made statements however I haven’t been asked what had happened

what happened?
i dont know - I wasnt there
(unless you know he was with you in the road whilst the fella was being bottled - but I dont see that you can really say that as you can't be in two places at once)
You are gonna have to wait and see - far too little to go on as to what can happen. Can you do anything to head off any possible charges ? - no really I think you two have done enough
you should think twice about asking the statement givers what they put in their statements (and certainly NOT dispute it) as it may be seen as interfering with witnesses. erm whenever I have tried that - I usually got the answer: " yeah I told the police what happened didnt I?" along with a triumphant look.
You must concentrate on going out and having a good time and not being in places where people are being bottled. and otherwise wait and see
