we have just had 4 inches of snow in the last hour.. stopped for the moment..been out clearing everyone's paths..they are all late 70's and eighties and can't do it themselves.. think there may be more to come though, but at least the postie can get in without breaking his neck.... how is it elsewhere ?

Positive has been had to abandon his van and walk up hill
Lovely blue skies here, Norfolk, cold but at least it's not murky and damp. Bless you for clearing the snow for the oldies, in Germany there were laws that said that the pavement had to be clear by 8 am!

It's like an Alaskan winter here and still snowing.
Good to see such community spirit murraymints. Well done you. My husband has done the same for elderly in our area and l often wonder if we will be as fortunate when the time comes when we may need help? Keep warm and take care.
