They won't without documents, Eddie!
If you know a bent scrapper these days Eddie you are lucky, most don't want to lose their licence..

No they won't Eddie, not legally anyway. Private companies were banned from the immobilisation and / or removal of vehicles in 2012.

We have two abandoned cars in our car park at worknow, it's not easy trying to get rid of them because of this
As far as I can tell it's not Jordy's car, it's not on Jordy's land, therefore Jordy isn't entitled to have it removed. Contact the land owner and let him sort it out.
Eddie and Spathy your really need to check your facts when it comes to the law.
Spath - moving a car in the manner you are suggesting leaves the OP open to possible action by the police.
Eddie - the law changed you now need to provide documents to the the scrappies before they will remove a car - and have had too for several years!

The owner of the land should:
pay the fee (under £5) to get the Registered Keeper details from the DVLA.
Stick a big notice on the windscreen advising the car will be removed for scrap after 14 days if there is no contact from the RK.
Send a letter to the RK stating the car will be removed for scrap after 14 days if there is no contact from the RK.
Keep a copy of all correspondence and a photo of the notice on the windscreen.
Spath - the do pick up cars. I scrapped mine broken down car and got over £200 for it. So wrong again.
Can your local authority not remove it since it's on land in the open air?

For all anyone knows the owner could be in hospital.

What kind of car is it btw?
Have you telt the council about the car?

just push it out onto the public highway, then the council will deal with it.

No Spath...you said smash the windows, take the handbrake off and let it roll down the hill. A bit of a difference!
TTT- OP @ 11.07...

//no way can we push it we are on an upward slope to the road//
