Once the dog owner has placed the poop in a bag what are they supposed to do with the bag?

There is a reason for asking but would like to know what the general consensus is.

Thanks

Put it in either a poo bin or a waste bin
Preferably a dedicated dog poo bin, failing that a normal litter bin or if neither of those available, take it home with you and dispose of it with your own rubbish.
We have "poo" bins in most streets here in Dundee. Not quite sure what I would do if there weren't.

I saw a couple this morning walking their dog and it had a cone round its head but it also had the waste bag in its mouth. They stopped, took the bag away from the dog and chucked it against someones perimeter wall. Nice!!! :o//
There will always be some numpty's
Not advocating this at all, but quite a few dog walkers round here throw the bags into the bushes, and there they hang
yes people do that in the parks here, leave it hanigng in trees , makes me mad, there's a bin at each exit as well as around the parks!!!
That’s horrible. It would be slightly better to empty the bag into or under a bush where it can decompose than to leave it hanging in plastic.
Mine go straight into a bin and if there isn't one, I have to carry it round till I find one !
My park has a bin on every exit.
just from observation round here, what you appear to have to do is hang it in the nearest tree.
^ We don't all do that !
I found this photo on my computer the other day - it may be from last century. We have them all around the Park that I doggy walked in.

They removed dedicated waste bins from my park a few years ago. Only normal bins now...at the entrances, and several scattered around the park. If I'm not near a bin, I take it home and put in our buildings bins.
put in a dog bin, there should be some, if say it's in a park.
There's a very good footpath/cycle track near me along the route of a disused railway. The hedges are adorned with dog poo bags - absolutely gross.
You don't live anywhere near Market Harborough do you?
Take it home with you, drop the contents down the loo, tie up the bag & put it in the dustbin - or wherever you dispose of plastic.
Ummm - no. Do you have the same problem?
With all the fuss around plastic these days, it's odd that nobody comments on this massive use of it. When I was a boy, you let your dog carp wherever - and some still do nowadays! Disgusting, maybe, but look at the plastic it would save ...
