Some are defecating and urinating in shop doorways!
But when you are desperate, well?
What would you do?

Always wear your bike clips. And don't eat or drink for a couple of hours before leaving your home. And don't vote for parties that squeeze local authorities. And do vote for parties that make all large shops and food/drink outlets provide facilities.

Shop toilets are still open.
I’m astounded tho that Nottingham’s Christmas market got the go ahead with no facilities

Some might say that the 'problem' is slightly overstated for shock/comic effect.

Frz in hospital awaiting innsertion of a hickman (sp)? Its a tube to his heart that broke, flooding his bed. A&E have no docs at local hospital so he had to bus (leaking blood) to another hospital. Its chaos at NHS at present.

It's a serious problem. I complained at local Tesco (they had closed the loos) and said that I felt discriminated against and had (it's true) actually wet my knickers the week before. One of the loos is now open.
Like a lot of things that have happened, it's been a massive overreaction to close public loos. ~~They are now open everywhere here - with exhortations and gel. No problem so far.

It doesn’t surprise me about Tesco. They massively overreacted when this all started. Sainsbury’s and just about any other shoo I’ve been in has had loos open

Not been open in our town for years. Too many druggies were using them.

Whem maklng a booking, my dentist advised me that their toilets are closed becaise of covid.

most if not all our public loos were shut years ago. Councils cutting costs.

many pubs here won't let you use their facilities, our local doesn't unless you are a customer. And in this covid 19 climate you would have to buy food first.

The old Victorian ones are shut but department stores and shopping centres have them.
