Same here and the council doesn't seem interested.
Shropshire awful! they normally blame the winter months, but we've not really had a bad winter for the last 4/5 years??
Ours have been bad but a lot have been patched up lately.
The council are quick to put speed humps up!
Our road is perfect.

Council workers filling in pot holes are generally just a temporary measure. My OH will go and in after them and do it properly.
Ours are terrible , but we have seen the pothole hit squad quite a bit.
Our roads are old concrete road laid for the war and tarmacked over. Consequently every time we have heavy rain or ice the potholes are back, getting bigger each time.
our road was marked out for about 20 repairs but they haven't fixed them & all the markings have now disappeared.

Oh dear!
The roads round here are outrageous. One massive pothole was filled, and 2 days later it started to crumble. What is the point of doing a half-arsed job? Pay cheap, pay twice.
I believe that the highway-code has been updated in light of the state of our roads.
Rather than stating that you should drive on the left of the road, the latest edition states that you should drive on what is left of the road.
We fill in our own potholes. The council has never contacted us about it even though their contracted-out refuse vans use the road every week.
excellent round here.
