After a long and difficult time, my daughter’s abusive ex has finally agreed to leave the house they jointly own. She wants to buy him out but he wants to keep a financial interest in the property. He’s agreed to pay half the mortgage. She is expecting his child in May, and is happy for him to play a role in the child’s life.
She needs to know if he would have any right to enter the property without her consent when he’s left. She lives in Hertfordshire but will be coming to Lancashire to have the baby and will stay with us..her parents..for three months or so and doesn’t want him entering the property whilst she’s here. She will change the locks but is unsure if she is legally allowed to do this as he is joint owner.
Any advice would be welcome.

Yes unless your daughter is able to get an occupation order which would prevent her ex entering the property. This is only granted in cases of domestic violence to protect the victim.
This is a straightforward, useful guide
