Just stop mentioning the last 14 years please. We all know how bad it was but it's gone now. Yes, some people are still suffering but it's all behind us. Give us another 5 years and we'll show you we can do the same. Ooops! Well according to Johnny Mercer we should all stop saying how garbage the Tories have been. So just stop it. And Vote Labour. 😂

I think the best outcome for the UK would be a main centrist party (which could hold many current members of both Lab & Con) but without an overall parliamentary majority so they would have to come to some accommodation with either a hard left or a hard right minority party (or the SNP).
I don't regard the tories as "my" party - just the least worst option.
//It is easy to bemoan the 2 party system when your side is about to be removed. //
The current Government are NOT my side. I have written this for ages.
//You have not been saying they are 'the other cheek of the backside' for the last 14 years. //
No, becasue when COB was in charge labour were not - they were a bunch of Trots. Forgotten already?
I actually gave up my Conservative membership during Camerons reign when it became very obvious that he was a liberal. so stick that in your lefty pipe and smoke it.
//The alternative to the centre is the extremes. But no one wants the hard Left or the far Right instead.//
If you are trying to insinuate Reform are hard right then you are very wrong. Reform are what the Conservative Party should be.
there is nothing to defend about the last 14 years. nothing at all. i have asked several times what the conservative party has actually managed to achieve and never had a positive answer.

And don't forget Ukraine. We were world leaders in supporting them when Russia attacked. Boris even has a street there named after him. Perhaps, untitled, you're so intent on replacing a Tory government with something that is probably going to be like nothing you imagine, you refuse to acknowledge reality.
^^^yes, Gromit did love lockdown; he'd post out of context stats, but when the context was provided his stats weren't as sexy as he thought they were.
Personally I thought the Covid era was handled terribly by the Govt. The Govt should not have locked down (the approved Pandemic plan did not include a lockdown) which would have meant we wouldn't have had the ridiculous furlough scheme, plus all the other absurd spending which we'll be paying for decades.
