Approx 4 years ago I received a residency order for my son. I have since misplaced the papers received from the family court. Where and how can i get a replacement copy? Also in the past my ex-partner has refused to return my son after arranged contact. If this were to occur again could I get my son back without the papers in my hand or would the police need to see them there and then? Hope you can help. Thanks. Elisa

You will have to apply to the court that gave you the order in the first place or speak to your solicitor who may have copies. if you wanted to remove your son because the contact order had been broken then unless your ex was going to say that you do not have a residency order then you probably would not need them but as i allways say better to be safe than sorry if you have them with you, the police will have to act. good luck.
