im going to court this afternoon to be a witness, my brother in law got in to a fight (which wasnt his fault) and ended up been slashed on his hand by a glass bottle, now i was there and i saw everything,
but my question is iv never been to court before and im very nervous anyone ever been that can offer me any advice???

Thers's nothing to be nervous about, really. All you have to do is answer some questions. If you answer them honestly, it's a doddle. If you don't know something, say so. If you don't understand something, say so.

Relax, it'll be over before you know it.

Lots of cases 'fold' just before they're 'on', so you may in fact not get called.
I guess by now you'll have been (if the case went ahead on time), but the court people know that the majority of those attending won't ever have been there before, so it's not quite the same as what you might see on the TV.
