Not for the same thing. But I contested one for months!!! The paperwork was going back and forth with threats of increased fees to frighten me. I spoke with a solicitor offering free initial consultation, and he advised me to contact the owners of the land who employ the car park attendants and report their behaviour or register my complaint. It worked a treat, and they canclled the ticket..and apologised. Don't forget some of these patrolers are on commission!
Good Luck.
Good Luck.
I considered doing this appeal as my car is 14' long, but I thought all I would be saying is i hadnt parked it in the bay
The back of the ticket should have the enquiries address, and write off to them. If it is a city, then apparently the adjudicator welcomes appeals from people who have been treated unfairly, because, that is what he is there for.....
a photo on the phone would have helped
and good luck

I used to work for the parking offence section in local government. For this type of offence they ticket issuer can only commence legal action (if you don't pay within the stated timescale) if they took a photo at the time.
Firstly write to the address on the back of the ticket and politely ask for a photo of the offence before paying. Chances are they won't have one, they just issue the ticket hoping you will pay up and not ask for the proof!
In the meantime could you go back and park there, take a photo of the bush and how much the car would be over the line?
