i have been working a night shift for a while now and when i take a shift or a week off the company only pay me the same holiday pay as i would get on day shift. i heard they are supposed to pay a percentage of what you are earning,so they should pay more when you work nights.anyone know if this is right? thanks in advance.

When you work nights, you receive your basic rate plus the nightshift enhancement. The fact that you always work nights does not alter the fact that your basic rate is less. If on the other hand, you were employed at the higher rate, and that is your basic rate then you should get holiday pay based on that. Your contract should clear up this point.
