And the date of this last offence?
If you reach 12 points within three years (dates of offences, not hearings) a minimum 6 month ban is more or less automatic.
If the first offence occurred more than three years before this offence, it will be more points and a fine.

Hey bluesman8998, people don't ask these questions for a lecture on morality! The point is, what's done is done, and these questions are asked for piece of mind and nothing more.
'Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.' Following that you're considering blackmail in your own question, I would hardly suggest that you start the mud slinging...

When you return the fixed penalty notice identifying yourself as the driver the fixed penalty office will check your record. When they determine that 3 more points will make you a totter they will withdraw the provisional offer of a FP and issue a summons instead.
Your latest case will be heard before magistrates. If you plead or are found guilty they will apply a mandatory minimum disqualification of six months. You will be given the opportunity to plead that the loss of your licence will lead to exceptional hardship. It is not easy to succeed with this plea.

hi bah434x
i really feel for you as i am in the same state as you having 9 points on my licence already, all for bieing 5 or 6 miles over the limit, (which at 36 miles per hour i dont consider it to be speeding).
i have just been flashed by another camera this morning doing 36 in a 30 mile zone.
id like to know how these boy racers get away with it when they dont have any respect for other laws of the road so i cant see them taking any notice of the speed cameras!!!
