A couple of months ago I wascontacted on the telephone by a company offering me jigsaw puzzles monthly. I was given to understand that I could stop subscription if I did not require anymore puzzles. Despite the fact that I crossed the NOT REQUIRED box for the next issue, I was sent a further puzzle. When I contacted the company requesting a returns label to send the goods back, I received a letter stating that I would have to either pay a cancellation fee of 25 or purchase a further 4 items to fulfill my commitment. They also said I should return the item at my expense. Since I have no written or verbal agreement with them, how am I liable for anything. Your help please

Anything you get in the future, write "Not known at this address" and post it back unopened. You shouldent have to put up with this because it isnt fair.Good luck.
i would imagine it was somewhere in the gumpf that you had to purchase a minimum amount of puzzles before you can cancel.
did you get a intro offer of really cheap ones? thats usually how they make the money up.

check the forms etc and if there is definitely nothing saying this, then write to them saying as you have said here, you have agreed to nothing, and anymore items that arrive will either be refused delivery or be kept until a returns label is sent
