i am hoping to travel to the us for a holiday and need a visa. as i was banned for drink driving almost 5 years ago. i know how to apply but was trying to find out what are my chances of actualy be granted one?

You'll probabaly get a Visa but you'll have to go to the grosvenor Square circus to get it, the Waiver of Visa program is off limits if you've been arrested, let alone convicted, DD counts as a "proper" criminal conviction.
