solicitor taken off a case

Can I submit a letter to a law firm who's solicitor keeps tarnishing my character, or can I have her removed from an on-going family law case.

If you instructed the firm then you can use their complaints procedure (they should have given you details when you instructed them), and this could include asking for the person concerned to be removed.

If you did not instruct the firm then I see no way in which you can do what you wish. Presumably if this is the case you have a solicitor of your own acting for you, and you should discuss the situation with him/her.
