Ground rent.
Have I dreamt this or is it an urban myth- I haven't received a bill for ground rent for many years- probably 10 or more. Does the landlord have the right to claim the arrears at this late stage? I've got the idea in my head that he can't, but could be wrong. Thanks in advance.

The building society have told me that 10 yrs ground rent is outstanding, which I don't dispute, because it's about 10yrs since I received any request for it! Trouble is, the ground rent is only �3 per annum, + the landlord is asking for over �80, which includes "costs". So what I need to know is what is my position now? I swear I haven't received any requests for payment for 10 years.I shall be phoning them tomorrow, but I would be grateful for any advice before then.
