can anybody advice?

hi,
I am writting a q for a friend, she and her partner are in the process of buying a home and have just made a call this morning to there soliceters to find out what the hold up is and basically they have just rang back and said that the sellers are in financial difficulty, I was wondering if you could explain what this means and what is likely to happen, she is really worried that it means that they arnt going to be able to buy the house tia x

It could mean the sellers cannot get a mortgage for the property they intend buying.

Your friend is paying her solicitor for proper advice. Tell her to call back and ask for clarification.
