my daughter may be getting a small part-time job at a local garden centre in teh cafe clearing tables, she is still 15, will she be entitled to teh min wage which I think is 4.30 or can they pay her less than that since she is not yet 16?

Thanks

The minimum wage for 16 year olds is 3.30 i think.

There is no minimum wage for 15 year olds
Yup - my stepson (16) only gets 3.30 in his full time job. Slave labour I reckon. Luckily he's hoping to leave and get and apprenticeship which although pays even less at least he'll be learning a trade!!
