Is there any benefit to having sickness cover? I already have quite a lot wrong with me-and when I am ill it tends to be with these things. I know I could take it out on the off-chance I might break my leg etc, but is it worth it- in your opinion?

It depends really, a lot of companies wont pay out on pre-existing illnesses so if you are worried in case you are off work with existing illnesses, you probably wouldn't be covered anyway.
And if they can find any way to link your new illness to an existing condition they will.

Not worth it.

And if you get sick pay from work they don't anyway, and if you read the small print, even if your'e off work after a stroke, unless you can't feed yourself etc, then it doesn't count. I never take it
