nat the person upstairs is right hopefully he will go guilty .but most men who do this never want to be known as someone who hits women,of course it will be all your fault ,and if he is on police bail he will try and contact you just before court or someone who knows ie friend or family ,you will be a witness for the crown prossicution not spelt right ,so you will not need a solictor but after the court case he maybe let out if it is his first offence.make sure your solictor is on stand by and get an emergency injunction .It will be really hard to stand up in court but remember you only have to tell the truth ask for someone from the domestic violence unit to attend with you, donot go back please. and also dont look at the judges and be affraid these people are hard working family people and will help you. you just i tell it like it happend and look straight at them dont look at him,as im sure he will look as if he hasent shaved hasent slept and look all sorry for himself.remember he never felt sorry for you .and dont go back ,I have a great bunch of solictors they are in uxbridge not sure where you are IBB good luck nat 2003
