Recently tried my dvd player and it will not turn on. I have tested continuity from the plug to the switch and power circuit inside the player and this is ok. Haven't looked into this any further. Before i try checking voltages etc, I wanted to know if any one has had a problem with their player and if they ever got to the bottom of the problem? If any one wants to get technical to answer the question that is fine. I know the player is cheap, but if i can fix it I will. It has only been out of the box for a week, not as if it's over used! It is too old to get an exchange and I no longer have proof of purchase. Any diagrams on the net or info. will be gratefully received. Thanks for reading.

Have you checked the fuses one in the plug and possibly one on the main board? Obvious question I know but I thought I'd ask.
