oh dear at present the minimum fine for speeding or running a red light is 60 and three penalty points will be added to your licence. How did you run a red light?
He probably drove through it while it was red.

i had been working late all weekend & on the sunday decided to take my friend home rather than him take the night bus, on the way back to where i live near to the north circular i approatched the lights they were green then turned red just as i went overthem causing the camera to go off, so a good deed back fired, thats life huh? thanks for your reply tho most helpful, i will ask for extra time to be allowed to pay fine as the csa take all my money at the moment........hey but thats another story. thanking you again all the very best Fred.
You may get off, ive been flashed probably ten times and had nothing come through
Wouldn't the lights have turned amber first, giving you time to slow down and then stop?

All history now, I know!

You mention the CSA. I know they are hell on earth. Feel free to start another thread about them...although there have been hundreds..
Rev you say it like it doesnt really matter. Didnt the first time teach you a lesson? :-) and yes elvis the amber light is for you to slow down be a bit more careful next time. xx
4get everyone speeds. I used to drive 30000 plus miles a years, all over the country and the law of averages means your going to get flashed. Im not condoning speeding but the majority of mine was late at night.

Plus try doing the speed limit down a main road and see how slow you are and the abuse you get lol
no not everyone speeds. I;ve never understood boy racers with their fast cars, speed limits are there for a reason
Every driver has at one point in the lives broken the speed limit even if it was just by 1 mph.

I dont understand boy racers either, I drive purely to get from A to B. my scooter is for posing on lol
not the old sunday drivers that cant even get up to the limit
lol you mean 'metro man' 4get. Always in front of you when out on a sunday, often the master of disgise he may change his car for a fiesta or even something flash like a micra! But we know its him, just by the way he drives

no redcrx thats the thing most sunday drivers and brand new cars, why bother!!!
Can i just ask a quick question.... what classifies as a boy racer to people here? My Boyfriend has recently went out and bought a lovely subaru impreza sport, has a few modifications like spoiler and bonnet air intake, induction kit and a LARGE exhaust that makes a VERY LOUD noise...... he is 27 nearly 28 so not much of a boy anymore, doesnt have it to try and 'pull the women' as some people say about men with flashy cars, it is purely for his enjoyment and his love of hearing and seeing that wonderful car and knowing its all his.... now when we drive down to asda to get the weekly shop you can guarentee we will get stared at by someone whether it be the little boy with his dad admiring the nice car or the older people GLARING at us like were hooligans because of the niose the car makes, this upsets me greatly.... yes its flashy and noisy but were not trouble makers or hooligans.... the police constantly watch us but never catch us doing anything wrong because he NEVER sets an inch above the speed limit, be it on a motorway or through a town. His car IS fast and could probably blow away half the other cars on the road if he wanted to but he doesnt, he is responsible, so can i ask why if someone has a flashy car and under the age of 30 they get labelled with the boyracer stereotype??
