help, advice needed urgently

a chinese girl who is working in public sector here for 2 years, was treated very badly by her line manager. also another girl from work with this line manger set her up together and she is facing work dicisline hearing, the person came to invetigate has good relations with her line manger. she have suffered depression and stress from work for a while, and her GP gave her many notes last year about work related stress. she got letter from work now, she need attend DISCIPLINARY HEARING MEETING, she feel she been treated like wit because race discrimination,.

what she need do to protect herself?does she need find solicitor or anywhere else she could seek for help? thanks

What makes her think it's racial discrimination? Has anything been overtly said regarding her race/nationality? Is she in a union?
TBH if she's been off sick a lot with stress, it's not surprising they've asked her to come to a disciplinary hearing. If she isn't able to do her job then it's not surprising they want to speak with her about it. If she isn't available for work then why should they continue to empl;oy her? Also if her job is causing her stress, why dosen't she get another one?

just asked her more information, she didnt off work lots, only coz the bully, she got depression and went to gp, her gp gave her prescrition and wrote down on her file 'worked related stress'
backgournd is she got the job, and their company has support study police, so she went to her mangagement to apply. but her line manage dont want give her support, as even they didnt gain the certification from the study yet. so she asked the senior manager and got their approval to do this course. also at same time, another girl as work didnt get the support and paying by herself for the study. after that,, her line manger kept talking to her, why you need the certificate, why you spend time on study, even i dont have the certification, you only junior, why you want a certifaiction, why you dont back to china to study?etc.
she is still continueing her study. because the require of theher lecture, she asked 4 day study leave, and her line manager approved and signed. however, the first day when she is in the class, she got phone call from her senor manager and been told the study been canceled and her leave is unauthorized. so next day, she back to work, she been asked to the meeting room by her line manager and senior manager. they talked to her very rudely, and said she is cheating them, also said you accept this job only because you want get the support for your study. lots insulting words, like, we think you dont have money to go study, so you cheat to gain the support.et.

she never met this kind of situation before, and totally horrified and upset, didnt know what to do at all. one of her workcollegues saw the whole thing, so in touched with work union for her. the uninion asked details and situation then decided in represent her to sue her managers. her managers heard about the union action, so reported to HR and said she misleading her manager etc.also at mean time kept asking her to meeting and to admit it is her faulty.

the union's support person planed to use gp's work caused stress and others rpoof abouth how they bully and insulting her as evidence to sue them. but after, the union soppurter said they cant represent her anymore, and didnt give clear reason. one of them gave her hints once, because they got pressure from the company, coz the work union belong to this company. now, she has been asked to go hearing, but couldnt find representatives from union. she doesnt know what is the best way to do now.

sorry for my original post, may unclear, shouldnt say it is racial discrimination, more like work bully.
her line manager did ask her lots wierd quiestions before at work tho, suchlike, do chinese eat spiders etc. which made her uncomfortable.

could anyone give some advice, wher she could ask for help?and which kind of law or regulation she could use?thank you.
