I need help, I have recently split with my partner, and i was in a private let, the landlord was her auntie. And the tenancy runs out in Jan. If she agrees can i get a new private let? Or is there a certain amount of time i need to wait.

If you have a tenancy agreement which runs until January and does not contain a break clause then you have a contractual commitment & could be chased to pay the rent even if you move out. So your only hope is to get the landlady to agree to end the tenancy early. Make sure you get this put in writing. If she won't agree, I'm afraid you are stuck!
