Sone people might think good on you, but it is not a great thing to do.. Things to bear in mind:
-If you left a deposit, you wont get it back
-If anything gets sent there by mistake that you need, your landlord isnt going to be inclined to get it to you..
-If he knows which college/uni you are/were at, he may well contact them and make a complaint/ask for your details.Dependent on the institution, alot of them have a clause that says you must not bring the college into disrepute so if you are still a student there, you may get in trouble that way.
-If you want a reference for another place to stay, you arent going to have one- something which you may find will give you problems going forward..
-Do you really want someone ringing your mobile all the time to catch you and potentially having to change your number?

Most contracts have a break clause after which point you can give a months notice, before the end of contract. I would have gthought this would have been the better thing to do..
Yes, it is very likely that the landlord will pursue you throught your college. You would have to take that risk.

You don't say if this is a shared house with other students (most are - which is why I mention it). Every student let I've ever seen makes ALL the ocupants jointly and severely liable for the money -so you will leave your friends in the cart financially - or someone else will have to be found to take your place.

Contrary to what the above answer says, most student lets are for a fixed period of one year, with no break clause earlier.
regarding any POST , u recieve as this adress you are vacating, ....ROYAL MAIL , do the "re direct your mail service " , means all you old mail , can be fowarded bt Royal mail ,,,,,,, to a new address , this ervice costs from 16- 50 dfor three months,,,,,
I once lived in a shared flat and the landlord wanted the full monthly rent ....Guess what

Others in the shared flat had to fork out.

Still met the ex flatmate in uni and he was well worh getting shot of as a co sharer....

He stole food from the fridge used others Milk / Tea..Coffee...

He ended up droping out.

We invited another Uni Student which helped us get back to our own Costs.

Later found out that the landlord did contact the Uni...and as previously said on this Put him under presure to Keep the good name of the Uni.

Think he had some kind of a breakdown.
******* students
I wonder what value you can possible consider that answer provides.
I would say the same about your whining little reply.
