Rude response to a question on AB
I, like many other ab'ers really enjoy this site and use it often for information/advice on a wide range of topics, it can also be great fun too, I often while away an hour or two on chatterbank. ALL responses i have had to my questions have been positive, useful and put politely. However, a response that i obtained recently really did make me catch my breath, (see question in LAW, submitted 25/4 @ 09.12 regarding vehicle clamping). I did have two positive responses for which i am grateful, the one from Mamjet however was in my view unecessarily curt and indeed down right rude. Have any of you recieved a similar response and how did you react to it? Thanks

Almost all of them are obviously given in a wind-up fashion. It is hard to believe that people who post on open forums get upset when they get joke replies, yet fail to see that they are being wound up. This will always happen on a public question and answer site.
It has been said many times - just ignore any wind-ups, don't retaliate, that will only invoke another response which will no doubt upset you even further.
Mamjet has had me laughing so many times with his/her wind-ups, and it is impossible for me to feel sorry for the question-poster, because mostly the answers are clearly given tongue-in-cheek.
There are many users of AB who deliberately cause trouble. At least Mamjet injects some humour into the site.
Keep 'em coming! That's what I say, Mamjet. (And please feel free to give me a wind-up answer, you never fail to make me chuckle!)

whiffey: don't you mean the wee free and wee wee free trains? There must be some protrusion, surely?
i saw some of manjet's responses, seemed a bit low ball. I would feel sorry for someone who had been abused on this site, right up until they created a post just about the protruder. Then all sympathy ceases. Erdinger, you are now a troll among us. Welcome.
ps. Erdinger beer is ok, but not worth what they charge.
