Charge against a Property
A friend has agreed for me to place a charge against his property for a sum of money I loaned to him. He is willing to signed a Land Registry form without a solicitor cost.
Can anyone tell me what LR form is involved?

It's usually a CH1 for a charge itself but you've have to also submit an RX1 or AN1 for a restriction or notice.
It depends on the terms of the charge as the CH1 itself is pretty bare and when I do them for clients I had a lot of additional wording in them.
You should also be aware of the possible limitations of a charge such as in repossession or bankruptcy and conditions on which you can get your money back.
