AJ, If they have taken your license from you at the roadside, then you shouldn't be driving now. that's the reason why speeders never carry their license! In any event, it's maximum £1000 fine, discretionary disqualification and 3-6 points. 3 points if they would have issued a fixed penalty. You could use exceptional hardship as a tool to beg the court not to ban you, they do have the power to allow you to still drive with 6 points, but obviously then you wouldn't be allowed any more for the next 18 months.
You really should slow down and if you must speed, do it safely and not in restricted zones (30/40/50/60 limits) where you are much more likely to injure or kill someone - or yourself. Have you thought about a Pass Plus course? you can sit it now, and it may show you in a better light to the court! Obviously, it'd make you a safer driver too!
