Changing Judge in the County Court

At the last Hearing, the Judge was totally on the Claimant's side - laughing and joking with her, and offering legal advice. Is this allowed, and could I request a different Judge for the next Hearing?

in a Crown Court? I don't believe you can request a different judge, but if you feel you need to make a formal complaint, you could do so.. but it doesn't sound very solid to me..
