i bought a new car in january (9 miles on clock) in aug it developed a fault which to be fair they have tried to fix i need the car for my business how long should i give them to keep trying or is it time now to demand at least a new engine

How many times have they attepted to fix the car? is it for the same fault? I rejected a car after 10months for the same fault that kept coming up on the basis that I have lost confidence and the car was not fix for purpose.

This was with a main dealer though.
