the court will want what's best for the child, not for his parents. Theere generally appears to be a bias in favour of mothers over fathers, so don't get your hopes up.
Do you know what EDDIE51? The poster says she is the one in school/college. I think he should join her! Spelling, grammar and punctuation classes as a first port of call.

As for the child, yes there is generally a bias toward the mother, even when the mother appears to be a bad one. However, I'm not quite sure exactly what the OP means by him having an order and that he took him back before it ended? A visitation order maybe? Did he return the child before his allotted time written on the order?

OP, is your name on the birth certificate?

Oooo sara, you little tinker ;-)
B00, I invested so much in trying to understand the question, I thought it was worthwhile looking in to!

she stabbed him, but he didn't turn up to give evidence, but then he regretted it. I think.

one for Graham and the Aftercare Team, methinks.
The sad thing is, if all this is true, there's a child involved. What a wonderful environment for him to grow up in!
I know.. very Jeremy Kyle-esque :o/
innit?

(see what I did there? I'm down with the 'yoof' speak)
naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa' Imeeeeeeeeeeeeeen?

(know what I mean?)
Well well well....
All sounds like a sad and desperate life for yet another child to me.

The word 'custody' (no matter how you may care to spell it) is no longer used. You need to apply for a residence order, for which purpose I suggest you contact a Family Law solicitor.
