A convicted paedophile lives in a cottage in the garden of my next door neighbour -he overlooks the back of my property in an elevated position. The back wall of his property is [part of the shelter shed of what was the local primary which only closed last year.

He served 4yrs in prison for holding his 2 14yr old babysitters hostage (left the wife at the local club feigning illness to get home) and forced them to watch porn. One tried to escape and he caught her at the door and held a knife to her throat and forced her back into the room. It wasnt reported in the paper the extent of any sexual conact.

Fast forward 2 years from his release and he is now my neighbour. My then 14yr old daughter ran down the stairs one night hysterical as he was in our back garden trying to entice her out her bedroom and gesticulating in a sexual manner to her -I ran out door and caught him in the garden. We had a job getting the Police to charge him but they reluctantly did and we had to endure a trial as that swine sat there and let my daughter get grilled like an adult for nearly an hour in the witness box.He gort 12mths probation

A couple of years later Police at door again asking if recognised someone with a certain description -yip him again approaching another 14yr old.-tagged this time for a year.

Now -he is on trial on 6th Aug for buying underage girls drink in exchange for sex and sending offensive graphic text messages to them..

He is arrogant enough to think he isnt doing anything wrong and that would appear to substantiated by light sentences -does he have to take a life before they take him seriously for the beast he is?

Not a fan of vigilante type action but I can see why people resort to it.... I wonder how many victims are out there who haven't reported this odious worm... I suspect in some areas the local hard men might pay him a little visit
Question Author
Im spitting feathers as it was just reported a couple days back and we havent even had the Police round to warn us of any trouble there could be because of vigilantes. They told us all they know is what they read in the papers which is bull.
Truly is madness...
this is just awful... and proves that he is a danger to young females....

Can you approach your local MP??? It may be a stupid suggestion - but they might be able to apply some pressure..
This man is a danger - and its only a matter of time before he chooses a victim to indulge his sick fantasies with....

It makes you mad doesnt it - you almost want to advertise the fact he is there and scare him out of town!!!!
just found Sarahs Law's website.. you might be able to get help from the NSPCC???
A long shot - but if you kick up enough stink maybe someone will do something about him...

He is well known in the town.
When he did what he did to my daughter I contacted the papers (due the proximity to the school-not interested),contacted Police Family Liaison Officer and they came out -couldnt do anything as he missed being placed on the Sex Offenders register by one year after the Prison sentence so the conviction he got for my daughter had to be counted as his first offence.
He still has the audacity to stay in the house which was the given address in the papers putting us in danger.
this is crazy! he should be noticed that he is a danger! i dont know what i would do if i dound out something like this was happening near me.
this is so disgusting for you to have to endure... what on earth is going on in this country when he apparently has more rights than the young girls he wants to prey on.... He obviously isnt going to improve his behaviour - and if anything will get worse....

Just awful - knowing what a danger is - yet unable to do something about him.

I really feel for you - and this has made me feel really angry! Why should your community have to wait until he rapes or murders a young girl to lock him away...

I really have no further advise for you - but hope all the local families keep their daughters safe from him!

Thanks Nosha im not sure its applicable in Scotland.
Just wish he had been remanded -cant believe he is out on bail.
Cant now do anything as it could prejudice the trial.
Seems like it costs too much to jail them for the extra manpower needed

It makes me very angry to think I have studiously ignored him for 7yrs and stuck by the deal I made with the Police Liaison that I wouldnt approach him if he took another route so he didnt have to pass my window every night.
Wish I had just kicked his head in now for his intentions towards ny daugher -do you know I couldnt tell her Dad her Step Dad or in fact any male member of my family until a week before the trial as the Police were frightened for his safety -I cpould have but they put the fear into me so I didnt.
Dris that is a dreadful story - don't know what to say apart from castration.
Very sorry to hear of your predicament Dris as this must be a very bad time for you and your daughter. Hopefully he will be convicted on 6th Aug and placed somewhere where he is not a danger to society. What does you neighbour say about this moron living on his land, I would have thought he would evict the bugger for everyones peace of mind. Hopefully soon you can all be well rid of him.

Hope they throw away the key this time -the whole towns talking about it and the general consenus is that he'll get a very long sentence -i didnt want to know the details but obviously given that some do it must be horrendous.

redman - its his ex father in laws house and it would appear that it was a way he could be supervised so he could see his children -his daughter must be about that age now -its beyond belief that a father of a girl that age could seperate his feelings for her from abusing someone elses daughter.

Was very tempting but I didnt want her male family members getting the jail for him.I could go him now tho strangely.Think part of my ability to remain detached if thats the correct word is that ,as ive documented on here before, have been a victim of a paedophile and he was jailed .Difference being my Mum and Dad to this day have never ever mentioned it to me even when this happened to my daughter.Made me probably more aware and its surprising how many paedos are out there in the guise of genuine uncles and close family friends etc.
I still cant get my head around their arogance.
Thanks for your reply wyz -just caught up with it.
I couldn't be held accountable for my actions.
Question Author
Is that their general excuse Greenfly? Quite pathetic isnt it.
I meant I would strangle the B****** - My actions wouldn't be good at all for doing such things
Question Author
Temptations there hence the reason I couldnt even tell her Dad until a week before as I was terrified that they would be up on a murder charge. As my daughter and I had kept quiet as advised by the Police the family reigned themselves in for my daughters sake.
Surely this time he will get a very long sentence if he doesnt there will be ructions.
I'll post when he's convicted
