AM I entitled to any of my husbands pension

I am 66 and my husband had worked for the company for over 25 years and we have been married for 20 years. the company he worked for just closed and he his about to collect a huge pension. He told me that I will not see any money from his pension and I was wondering if I was entitle to any and if so can I file a claim to what i am entitled to.

I don't think there is anything in the rules that states you have to know the exact answer or you can't post. But if it's been pointed out that your answer is wrong you should try taking it graciously Jaydah...instead of arguing the toss all the time.

Jaydah, could you avoid stating things as fact unless they ARE facts please? One way to improve your argument might be to provide supporting evidence. If it is as common knowledge and easily completed maybe you could link to some government literature on it.
